Dr. Paul Baubly is retiring!

After many meaningful and rewarding years in practice, Dr. Paul Baubly will be retiring effective November 1, 2026. If you would like to remain with Baubly Medical, Dr. Kathryn Baubly will be continuing in the practice and is available to care for you. If you feel it is best for you to establish care elsewhere, we will gladly assist by transferring your medical records and ensuring you have enough medication to get you through this transition. Billing and Payment Procedures

The costs associated with mailing paper statements have risen significantly. Going forward, we will be utilizing electronic billing only. We will require all patients to provide a credit card for automatic payment, which will be processed 30 days after your electronic statement is sent if the bill remains unpaid. As always, if you are experiencing financial issues, we can accommodate by making a payment plan.

Lab Services

We are pleased to announce that blood draws will be available again at our office on select days. If you have previously encountered any difficulties with our in-office blood draw process, please inform us, and we will be happy to coordinate your lab orders with an external facility (such as Elmhurst Hospital or Labcorp), as we have been doing over the past few months.

Medicare and Medicare Advantage Patients

For Medicare and Medicare Advantage patients who wish to continue receiving care at Baubly Medical, participation in a new program called Advanced Primary Care Management (APCM) will be required. This program provides additional financial resources for primary care providers to manage tasks between visits, such as prescription refills and coordination with other specialists. The program is a covered Medicare benefit, subject to the annual Medicare deductible. If you have an Advantage Plan, please call them to determine coverage. The Advantage plan may request a code, which is G0557.

While we have always offered many of the services covered by this program, the additional financial support ensures we can continue delivering comprehensive care. For more information on the APCM program, click the button below.

Office Behavior Policy

Most of our patients are kind, respectful, and a pleasure to work with. However, since the pandemic, all medical facilities have unfortunately noticed a rise in aggressive or rude behavior. Please remember that our doctors and staff work tirelessly to provide quality care to all our patients. While we occasionally experience delays or make minor errors, we kindly ask for your patience and understanding. Our office has a strict zero-tolerance policy for any aggressive or inappropriate behavior.
