Dr. Paul Baubly and Dr. Kathryn Baubly are a father- daughter team of internal medicine physicians. Our practice emphasizes preventative medicine, which uses evidence-based tools such as screening tests, vaccines, and routine wellness visits to maintain health and prevent disease. Our priority is keeping our patients healthy and out of the hospital.

We offer a variety of early morning, evening, and select Saturday appointments, to accommodate the traditional 9-5 work schedule. Dr. Kathryn Baubly has evening availability on Wednesdays and works the 2nd Saturday of every month. Dr. Paul Baubly has early morning appointments every Wednesday, and evening appointments on Thursdays. We prioritize acute illnesses, and do our best to offer same day appointments.

Visits

Medicare Wellness Visits

If you are a medicare patient, an annual visit is strongly recommended to keep both you and our physicians updated on your current state of health. As a practice that focuses on preventative medicine, we want to assist you in being proactive when it comes to your health. These annual visits are covered in full by your insurance. However, if you have chronic medical conditions that need to be monitored, a follow-up visit will often be combined with your Medicare Wellness.

Annual Visits

If you are a non-medicare patient, we recommend an annual physical, to keep up to date with your health status and any necessary prevention. These annual visits are typically covered in full by your insurance. As with the Medicare Wellness visits, these annual physicals are often combined with a follow-up visit for management of chronic medical conditions.

Nutrition Visits

A nutrition visit can be scheduled with Cyndi Cansler, a Registered and Licensed Dietitian. As part of the Affordable Care Act, almost all commercial insurance now covers nutritional counseling for patients, usually without a copay or deductible. Nutrition visits are generally covered under preventative services. In some cases a diagnosis of diabetes or obesity may be required. Ms. Cansler is credentialed with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Aetna, and United Healthcare.

In-House Labs

Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, we have appointments available for blood draws in office. Unless you were told otherwise, they will likely be doing at least one test that requires FASTING. For these tests, you should not eat anything for 10 hours prior to your appointment. You are, however, encouraged to drink plenty of water prior to the blood draw, and you may have black coffee, if you wish. Please call our office if you have any questions regarding your lab appointment.
