WHAT IS BOTOX?
BOTOX is FDA-approved as an effective treatment for wrinkles and lines between the eyebrows, “crows feet”, and forehead lines. In addition, BOTOX can also be used to help young adults delay the first signs of aging. Our clinic is pleased to provide BOTOX injectable treatments to any patient’s who wish to diminish and soften the look of wrinkles, and fine lines.

Am I a candidate for BOTOX?
We are accepting current patients and non-patient clients.
You must be 18+, generally healthy, and not pregnant.
WHAT CAN I EXPECT AT MY FIRST APPOINTMENT?
Dr. Kathryn Baubly provides a free consultation where she will listen to your beauty goals, and decide on the best injection sites suited to your needs (this can be done via televisit). We will then schedule your BOTOX administration appointment after your initial consultation. During your BOTOX appointment, we will ask you to make different facial expressions to allow us to mark the proper sites of injection. Once we have the injection sites marked, we will clean your face and administer the BOTOX with a fine needle. The treatment itself takes around 15 minutes to complete.
To prep for your BOTOX first appointment:
Do not take anti-inflammatories (ibuprofen/advil/motril/aleve/naproxen) the week of your appointment as this can increase the risk of bleeding/bruising.
Avoid alcohol 24 hours before your appointment.
WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER BOTOX?
Following treatment, we suggest that you stay upright for at least 4 hours to allow to the BOTOX to properly absorb into the injected muscle. There may be slight bruising or redness for a few days, but these symptoms should subside. BOTOX takes around 5-7 days to see the full effect, but some patients may take longer. BOTOX lasts up to 3 - 4 months, but results vary for each individual patient.
BOTOX AFTERCARE
Avoid alcohol 24-48 hours after your injections.
Stay upright 4 hours following BOTOX injections.
Do not massage or scratch the injection sites.
Exercise the injected muscles.
Avoid rigorous exercise for 24 hours.

Regular pricing is at $14/unit after your first Botox treatment.
